Microwave Sponge and USDA News Topic: Chores   Posted:2006-08-13 Printer Friendly: I talked about bleach solution for keeping sponges clean in this article. Well, I heard about a trick using the microwave that seems to work well. Just put a damp sponge in the microwave for 2.5 minutes.
